AutoTrace processes telematics signals, crash indicators, location data, behavioural markers, and derived analytics. While we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and reliable data:
We do not guarantee that all data, alerts, crash signals, or reports are error-free.
FNOL detection, speed validation, device behaviour, or risk scores are not definitive assessments and must be interpreted by qualified professionals.
Our Services support but do not replace underwriting, claims decisioning, or legal assessment.
You acknowledge that telematics data has inherent limitations and may be affected by device quality, installation, environment, connectivity, and third-party systems.
You agree to:
Ensure telematics devices are installed, used, and maintained according to guidelines.
Inform policyholders, drivers, or users about data collection where applicable.
Secure appropriate consents under applicable privacy laws (e.g., GDPR).
Not use telematics insights to unlawfully discriminate, deny services, or violate regulations.
All content, software, dashboards, branding, reports, algorithms, and materials provided by AutoTrace remain our exclusive intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
Our Services may integrate with third-party systems (e.g., mapping providers, API partners, device manufacturers).
We are not responsible for:
The content, reliability, or behaviour of third-party services
Interruptions caused by external providers
Data inaccuracies originating from external sources
Use of third-party tools is at your own discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
AutoTrace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
We do not accept liability for business interruption, data loss, lost profits, reputational damage, or claims arising from reliance on telematics outputs.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid to AutoTrace within the preceding 12 months.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AutoTrace, its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:

Violation of these Terms
Improper handling or interpretation of telematics data
Failure to obtain required consents or comply with applicable laws
